Hours: 24 hours per week by one or two students.
Department Objectives: Being a leading provider of educational informational and cultural products and services, using all media, which reflect and respect a diverse and complex world.
Responsibilities: The student(s) will perform a variety of production related administrative duties (70%) including tape logging, proofreading, archiving tapes, conducting research, making copies, faxing, creating files and picking up dub orders. Additionally (30%), the intern will attend departmental staff meetings, gain exposure to animation reels of potential collaborators, have access to production materials including scripts, character models, treatments, etc. On a daily basis we expect reliability, punctuality, and the ability to prioritize.
Skills: Preferably a College Junior or Senior, and someone with at least one production internship under the belt. Must have demonstrated responsibility and be enthusiastic about working specifically for this department.
Opportunity Profile: Ideally, the CEP interns will gain an overview of educational production — from development through delivery (though probably not entire process). The intern will contribute to the success of CEP projects by assisting when needed.
