Responsibilities: Work with marketing directors to identify corporations, divisions, brands, strategic alliances and other intelligence which will serve to formulate marketing approach. Work with marketing directors to develop program proposals and presentations.

Skills: Requires superior written communications skills, attention to detail, and Power Point and Excel proficiency.

Opportunity Profile: Will be exposed to the media environment and will learn about media, corporate advertising/sponsorships, and will work with the most successful new business development group within PBS. Will also be exposed to the rest of the PBS systems, including large producing stations and PBS headquarters. Will learn about how public television programs are funded and why companies want to fund them. Will also be exposed to producers and other production personnel.

Hours: 10-15 hours per week by one student.
