This week, a teenage pimp, an immigrant adrift in New York City, and a child with an acrobatic imagination vied for your votes. So which film won?
Winner: “New Business”
A black comedy in which a teenage boy tries his hand at entrepreneurialism
by attempting to prostitute two teenage girls on a summer evening in
post-Soviet Russia. Directored by Julia Kots.
“New Business” will be broadcast on Thirteen Saturday night, sandwiched between the Reel 13 Classic and the Reel 13 Indie films.
